Its been a while since ive posted again.. So what's been happening in the world of battlefield 3 wella new feature soon to be released is live scoreboards, being able to view the scores and players stats before you join a game. That way you know which side not to join before you enter the game.
Also being able to pay to unlock weapons $6.99 (560 MSP) per class, $4.99 (400 MSP) to unlock the co-op weapons and $39.99 (3200 MSP) for everything. If your a new player I could see this being handy just to catch up to everyone not that I would bother though part of the game is to unlock a learn the weapons not just get them all at once, sort of like giving a newborn steak if you know what I mean.
New DLC due out "Close Quarters" clue is in the name really. Most look as though they are cqb maps around, office maps or indoor environments which were one of DST strong points back in the day lets see nothing changes.
The big 1.6 gb patch I cant comment on it apart from I know there's a lot of changes which I will list underneath.

Going back to Delta Strike Teams roots here, with a video from ARMA 3 showing off the beautiful lighting system. Looks impressive even though with any ARMA game your computer will be screaming.
Looks nice nevertheless.

New driver release fix for battlefield 3 for people with cards of under 1gb running ultra and high settings and having problems, as well as many other game fixes.
Nvidia patch details:

This is the crazy long list of incoming battlefield 3 fixes so many changes!! Here is hoping that they are not game breaking....
I've seen games release patches this big that do more damage than good here is hoping this is not one of them patches.
GENERAL GAMEPLAY FIXES: -Players should no longer take fall damage from short falls.
-Players now get up from Prone slightly faster, allowing better odds of getting away from a grenade or threat when prone.
-Fixed some situations that would unintentionally make a player unrevivable.
-Reduced the black screen fade in time on spawn. The fade is still necessary for properly streaming in loading content at spawn, but it has been substantially reduced.
-Increased the spawn protection time from 1sec to 2sec. The protection will still be immediately canceled as soon as the player moves or shoots.
-Spawn protection will no longer be canceled by the player looking around.
-Increased the speed at which a player regains accuracy when aiming after moving for a more responsive experience. Firing before fully zoomed will still result inaccurate fire.
-Increased the inaccuracy and recoil added when a player is fully suppressed.
-Shotgun Buck and Flechette rounds now have a less suppressive effect at medium to long range.
-Tweaked the damage levels of Buck and Flechette rounds to balance them with other weapons.
-Improved the suppression of the .44 magnum, .357 magnum, and the 5.8x42mm DAP88 rounds from the Type88 sniper.
-Attempting to Crouch (like Prone) will now properly interrupt Sprint.
-Increased the effectiveness of Suppression
